Jean-Michel Le Béon, a new chef at the helm of the Château's kitchens
At the end of 2018, the Château welcomed a new chef, Jean-Michel Le Béon.
Originally from Brittany, Jean-Michel trained at the Hotel School of Nice. He then developed a talented approach to Provençal and Mediterranean cuisine in renowned restaurants such as "Le Château de Taulane" in La Martre, "La Villa Mauresque" in Saint-Raphaël and "Chez Bruno" in Lorgue.
Succeeding Alain Lamaison, he took over management of the Château's kitchens, where, in the evening, he serves his refined cuisine at the gastronomic restaurant, "l'Acacia", whose panoramic terrace overlooks the bay of Pampelonne, and at lunchtime at the restaurant "A Ciel Ouvert", with its friendly poolside atmosphere.
His delicate cuisine, largely inspired by the Mediterranean, from the French Riviera to Italy, with occasional oriental influences, is based on a selection of local products.
The menu is renewed each season and delights the taste buds of both gourmets and enthusiasts of light, tasty cuisine.
